Shaver Hall is an over 35,000-square-foot venue opening in New York City’s bustling Midtown Manhattan, set to offer a variety of dining options and drinking holes. The food hall is the product of Food Hall Co., a dining and entertainment venue operator with two locations — one in Plano, Texas, and the other in Nashville, Tennessee. The organization’s third venue, soon to open in NYC, is in Amazon’s “Hank” building, which was previously the longstanding flagship Lord & Taylor store on Fifth Avenue.
At the new NYC food hall, visitors can expect a hub of wining, dining, and culture. In addition to the two on-site restaurants and two full-service bars, Food Hall Co. promises its NYC location will have 10 food stalls, “a uniquely curated bodega, and space for entertainment.”
One of the food stalls set to open its doors is Chick Chick, a former Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner in NYC already beloved for the Korean-inspired fried chicken at its Upper West Side location. Taqueria Al Pastor is another local favorite — with four locations throughout the city — known for its fresh, high-quality Mexican cuisine. F&F Pizzeria — a raved-about pizza spot in Carroll Gardens — will also have its own place within Shaver Hall.
Other eateries visitors can expect include ZaZu Mediterranean Street Food, Biddrina Gelato, Pastasole, and Pick & Cheese. The latter will be the first United States location of the unique London-based establishment that serves cheese on a conveyor belt. Tallow Steakhouse will be one of Shaver Hall’s fine dining restaurants, and the other will be an omakase concept spearheaded by Michelin-starred Chef B.K. Park.
