Houston-repping mega musicians Megan Thee Stallion and Solange Knowles recently enjoyed some time together in bikinis at the beach and on a boat.

In late May, the When I Get Home singer posted a photo dump capturing some of her and Megan’s link-up on Instagram. The series of photos included Megan, 31, and Solange, 39, posted up in their bikinis and individually posing on the boat. In one photo, Megan is standing in the water with her body facing the sandy shore. In another picture, a smiling Solange looks carefree as she stands on the sand and holds a fallen tree branch. One arm is raised to the sky while her other leg is kicked up. She didn’t disclose where the ladies spent their time together, but the setting included a significant amount of surrounding trees and greenery.

In the caption, Solange said, “May thee light shine upon all H-Town legends forever more.”

Megan separately took to her personal Instagram Stories and posted a selfie of her and Solange closely together and lightheartedly sticking out their tongues during their beach link-up.

Both multi-hyphenates proudly rep Houston and find ways to incorporate their hometown into their music. Solange was born and raised in H-Town. Meanwhile, Megan was born in San Antonio, lived in Houston for most of her childhood, and then moved to Pearland, a nearby suburb, where she graduated from high school.

The ladies posted about their beach link-up several weeks after Megan shared that her relationship with NBA player Klay Thompson had ended. Shortly after that announcement, the rapper went on to announce on her Instagram Stories that she’d be prematurely ending her debut stint on Broadway as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

“Hotties, my last performance as Zidler in @moulinrougebway will be May 1,” Megan said in an April 27 Instagram post’s caption. “It’s been such an honor to be part of thee Moulin Rouge family, and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater! Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time, and the effort y’all put into the work! I’m so grateful for the cast and crew that made this experience so meaningful. And to all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey! I LOVE YALL. See you soon.”
