Solo travelers are in for the best time in Dublin, Ireland, according to a new travel report.
Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Destinations crowned Dublin the world’s best city for solo travelers “exploring the world at [their] own pace.” The travel recommendations and reviews platform highlighted the Irish capital’s historical architecture, walkability, number of museums, and variety of food options for any budget. Moreover, the source stamped Dublin as a city with lots of walking tours, historic sites, half-day tours, and places nearby to take day trips to.
“The Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel,” Tripadvisor detailed. “It’s awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. Out of our 8 million listings, fewer than 1% achieve this milestone.”
